The Ongota live in the rainforest. Their homes and fields are separated by a river. The way they get to their fields is by canoe. In April 2010 during the flood that wiped much of their village away, they lost all their transportation(2 canoes for the entire village) to their fields.
The Ongota community has been hit with floods and needs a reliable way to remove stagnant water. A pump and equipment like it would be a great help.
